SAVE OUR CANNON BEACH DUNES!
Foredunes aren't just pretty. They're the only thing standing between your property and the Pacific Ocean. Every time a dune is graded or plowed, it loses the root structure that holds sand in place. Without that, storm surges travel farther inland, flood damage gets worse, and the beach itself erodes — permanently. No dunes means no beach. No beach means no Cannon Beach. The family fighting to dig out their foredune has lived there for 50 years. But the dune has been protecting that entire stretch of coastline — and everyone on it — for a lot longer than that. This isn't about one house. It's about whether your street floods next winter.
